The salad bar is our goats happy place. The best thing with this feed is that it's easy and cut our feed bill in half. We order 5 barrels every 2 months. We've been ordering with LF&G for 2 years now.
Our goats and chickens love this mix. We use to only use it during the Winter but since last year we use it year around. We order 10 barrels a month and never have a problem keeping weight on our animals during the Winter.
We tried a few vendors. Our last provider Alexander Hulls feed was terrible. It smelt really bad and attracted flies. After our animals got sick, we decided to go with who our friends used. Since using livestock feed and grain our animals has made a noticeable change. We get our deliveries on time and the grain is always good. I highly recommend using livestock feed and grain. Stay AWAY from ALEX and his terrible grain unless you want toxic food. He is the most shady livestock feed dealer in the High Desert.
Livestock Feed and Grain is by far the best choice of feed in the High Desert. We have raised animals out here for nearly 30 years now. Our chickens and goats have never been so happy and shiny.
We order around 10 barrels monthly. So far this has been a great staple meal around the farm. If you have goats, pigs, chickens, or sheep they'll love this mix.
My experience with the Alfalfa Mix has been great. It provides excellent nutrition to my animals, keeping them healthy and strong. Highly recommended!
